I miss this place so much! We moved out of state and we have not found any bakery half as delicious. They’re the only place I know of that still makes their own croissants and danishes from scratch and folds in butter by hand. They should raise their prices! It’s an exceptional bargain and Katie’s place is always friendly and inclusive.
The Pan Au Chocolate, chicken salad sandwich, sourdough bread, basically everything!!
Great bakery/coffee shop/cafe. Wonderful selection of baked goods, their lunch sandwiches are great, and served on their own in-house bread. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.
I asked them to make an orange cake for my dad's birthday . It looked beautiful and my dad loved it. I would absolutely recommend them, as well as use them again for future cakes. Thank you for helping to make my dad's birthday a good one.
I ordered an Almond Bearclaw and a slice of Quiche and both were absolutely delicious! This is hands down the best bakery I’ve ever been to and I’ll be going a lot more frequently now that I’ve discovered it! Make sure to stop by next time you’re in town. �

EVERYTHING that I've purchased here has been phenomenal! I have several friends drive to Independence because the pastries and lunches are so good and prices reasonable! Wonderful place to meet for lunch!
