OVA is a "layer" on top of Fertility Centers of Illinois. Their billing is not transparent and their financial counseling is a joke. We continue to receive payment requests for services that we have documentation were approved by insurance. I had to ASK for written documentation about where our storage is. Giving two stars because the process was technically successful but that's credit to me not Ova.
I had an amazing experience with Ova. I received excellent care every step of the way. The nurses and staff were great at explaining all parts of the process. They worked with me remotely at first and helped me set up appointments in 2 different states before I arrived in Chicago for my final week before the egg retrieval. The staff helped me navigate some of the more complicated aspects of egg freezing like insurance and prescription coverage as well. I would recommend working with OVA to anyone interested in egg preservation. Their team is knowledgable and approachable and goes above and beyond to ensure patients feel supported. They made a very complicated and stressful process simple to understand and complete. Everyone from their front desk team to their techs, nurses and physicians were amazing.
I recently went through the egg freezing process with Ova and I would recommend them to anyone! The staff was so caring and professional and made the entire process easy! I will definitely be using them for any future fertility needs!
