My friends and I came down from Ohio and did the 2-hour guided tour on Broad Creek yesterday. We absolutely LOVED it! We had Pippi and Patti as our guides, and they were both very helpful and informative. We even got to see dolphins on our tour! After our adventure, we stopped at the Outside Retail store, picked up some rad Outside gear and got some local dining recommendations from the employees. I had an amazing 2 hour kayak tour on Broad Creek with Alexa today. She is so passionate and it shows! I was fascinated by the Spartina grasses and got to be "up close" with 8 American Oystercatchers. I will never forget this tour and highly recommend it.
We took the Daufustie Island boat tour with Captain John. It was fabulous! He was knowledgeable of the history (which we LOVE) and the natural environmental science, and passionate about his home State of SC. He was the kindest soul. Great guide! We were so blessed. What a great day!!
