Very disappointed with their service and install! My boyfriend went to outrageous a couple of weeks ago to get a new navigation system for our Toyota truck. (He also wrote a review that was deleted by outrageous) First they rushed the sale and sold him a system that didn't fit his dash properly. The owners manual clearly states the screen should fold down 90 degrees, but his only folds down 20 degrees so he can't access some of the USB/memory card points. Worst experience ever with any business. This company uses false advertising to get you to purchase their products (Compustar security system in this case) then after spending over $1,000 when it does not perform on par with what they claimed when they sold you on the product they will tell you No Refunds but you can pay them an additional 35% plus labor costs to take the system out. Absolute worst company you will ever deal with STAY FAR FAR AWAY!
I took my car in to get the radio fixed but, in the meantime, Nate took the time to go over possible ways to fix it. I let him know I was interested in getting a new radio put in while we were at it. He walked them with us explaining how each worked and helped us find the best one within our budget. We took the car in for our appt, and he was kind and communicative the whole time. WOW!! Went in and got the best deal ever. They have more stuff then any other store...and the people are smart! Got a hard hitting system for way less than the other places I went to. Plus these guys were not pushy!!
Waste of time and money So, I called Outrageous Audio on Monday to see if I could get my speakers installed and they told me that they couldn't do it that day, but that they could do it the following day. I asked if I needed to make an appointment, and the dude told me no, and to just come on in any time tomorrow and they could do it. So, I left work two hours early, drove all the way from Tigard to Gresham, which is about a half hour drive, only to get there so that I could be turned away! Customer Service A+++++ I have been a customer of Outrageous Audio for 10 years Blane has always given me great deals on all my stereo stuff, and anytime I ever needed anything changed on my system it was always done RIGHT!!! I refuse to go anywhere else in fear that I wont get treated as well as they treat me there. The reason I am telling you all this is this Business is a true selfless service place to go. Outrageous Audio is FREAKIN AWESOME!!! I recently went to Outrageous Audio to get a deck for my Mustang. I had shopped around and didn't find anything special so I decided to check them out, their wacky commercials always stick in my head! Anyway, I drove up to Gresham from Salem and was greeted by 3 people right when I walked in.
