Wow, the guy with the beard and glasses is incredibly unpleasant. Spare yourself from shopping here. Last visit, they had a sweater I liked, but not in my size. The woman helping said she'd transfer it with no problem. Wanted a medium, but she said the large will get here fast, and she can quickly sell it if I don't take it. Recently visited after being a Healdsburg local since birth. Just was casually looking and a few moments into the visit a man who I’m not sure was either the owner or manager commented “I think you’ll have better luck at that store” pointing to another store across from his. I took a moment and wasn’t sure how to take his comment. Whether he thought I couldn’t afford the store or because I’m younger and the clothing style was targeted towards middle-age? We were greeted with “get out” from a man with a drink in his hand. Our experience here was unfriendly and dismissive. We will not be returning.
I would typically never post a review that would negatively impact a business but I can truly say I have never had such a terrible experience. I do not know if our interaction was with the manager or the owner, but my husband and I received no greeting as we explored the store, and as we were approaching the exit, he bid us farewell by saying “nothing for you here. Carry on.” It truly took me a few minutes to process what happened and the judgement that was made by this man. We love to support small businesses but this was a... read more
