My family and I stayed for four days. I was a little bit worried about this place from seeing pictures when I booked, but I went ahead anyway. We got a call around 11:30 am the day of check in saying our room was already ready, which was great when traveling with two toddlers. An older property but is very quaint and clean. Small be enough to feel homey and personable. Owner/manager was very polite and engaging, he was very helpful throughout the stay. Location is great for the Outer Banks experience, the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this place to anybody.
I asked my other family members who stayed with me what they would give this place. They said 1 star. I’ll be nice and upgrade it to 2 stars. Ok, first off it is literally a two-star hotel as hotels are apparently rated. And as two star hotel go, this one is below average. I will start with the only good things. Staff seemed nice. Being we did a last minute spare of moment stay. This place was nice. It is not your typical hotel an was outdated but the room we stayed in was very clean an an looked nice. The staff was wonderful/helpful an just sweet as can be. This place is also a 3 minute walk to the beach. An right where everything else is you would need. Me an my husband has said we would definitely stay again on our next trip back.
We just left there this morning and I have to say I truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location and is clean and quiet. The pool is well maintained. The couple that manages the property were absolutely great. They went above and beyond. I thought I had locked my keys in my car and they had a friend of theirs there within minutes to help. Luckily I found them. I cannot say enough. If I visit the area again this definitely where I’ll choose for the value and the friendly caring atmosphere.
