The "free breakfast" is pretty basic—just cereal, Honey Buns, and Hostess donuts—and there are communal microwaves on each floor rather than in the rooms. This place was a true hidden gem. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had plenty of modern upgrades that made the stay feel comfortable and a bit elevated. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like bathrobes, great lighting, and a coffee machine in the room. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and the shower was a highlight—excellent water pressure with a great shower head. I could go On and On about both of my experiences here at this hotel. While it's newly renovated and appears very nice. The front desk owner lady is very rude. I guess this is family run because I met the daughter who was cleaning the rooms. She doesn't speak much English but she's very nice. The husband on the other hand. He's very persuasive and will make it sound as a great deal over the phone untill you get there in person. There's multiple extra taxes and fees. Customer service was extremely disappointing. After I was told my card had declined, I explained that my bank had flagged the transaction as possible fraud and that I simply needed a moment to approve it. Instead of being understanding, I felt rushed throughout the process. What was most concerning was the manager, DJ’s, response. I had a wonderful 3-night get-away stay at Ocean Sands Beach Boutique Inn. Given the low price for three nights I wasn’t sure if everything would be as written, but it is!
