I brought my high performance outdrives in to be serviced to Outdrive Exchange located at 991 west 19th in Costa Mesa. I called many times without a return call. Then I heard the owner Ray passed away, so I went all the way to the shop to collect my outdrives, but no one could find them on the property. Now I am being completely ignored, and I am out two very expensive outdrives. Does anyone have their insurance information?
Ray owner of Outdrive Exchange has been my mechanic for 20 years. My partners and I have a rare Tiara with Outdrive’s. We haul twice a year so that Ray can service our DP 290 Volvo Outdrive’s. Outdrive exchange has never made a mistake in judgment or execution. We never lost a drive or prop due to electrolysis. Ray’s mechanics have kept our boat operating at top performance since we bought her in 2000. In my opinion Ray is the best Volvo mechanic in So Cal. And you don’t want any other brand. Took my outdrive here for service. Ray sold me a rebuilt lower to my outdrive. When I put the new part on, my boat would not shift. I chased this issue for a while and Ray suggested a new micro switch. I didnt believe him but tried it anyway... The boat now shifts better than it ever has. Ray is extremely knowledgeable! I am so glad I took my outdrive to him! Thank you Ray!
