Message from Outdoorsman Sport Shop Well with the New Year upon us there are several changes in the air for the outdoorsman sport shop. Due to the overwhelming response for Wisconsin and Utah CCW classes we have opened up a new classroom. as well as expanded our classes to include baslc, advanced and tactical CCW courses while maintaining our hugely successful one on one basic firearms instruction. they have a shooting range Every time i need items to use to go fishing, I usually stop here before going to the lake of choice. They have minnows, nightcrawlers, and other fishing supplies. They aslo have a gun shop, where it carries the needs of hunters and shooters alike. They also carry fireplaces, stuffed heads of all kinds!!!!!! So if u are ever in the area, you really need to check them out!!!!!
Missed the start of the season because of these clowns!! I ...finally recieved my Matthews Z7 from the boys at Outdoorsman Sport shop. I ordered it on or about 24 Sept. and finally took delivery of the bow today (21 OCT). I confirmed (from Paul) that it had arrived on 5 OCT to the shop. I had to call them to find this out. I called them a week later to see if it was ready, but no one would answer the phone...I tried three times! Disappointed I came in there the other day to get a hunting license and nobody would even say can I help you. I finally stopped someone and had to ask him for help. All I wanted was to get a hunting license and the people working there couldn't even find out how much a license would cost. They shouldn't even be open to the public, they can't even sell a hunting license. (I THINK IT'S A BAD PLACE TO GO TO ), I'm going to pro bass, they know there business.Sorry
Great customer service!!!!!!!!!! Well I just purchased a mathew's Z7 extreme :} .. I first want to say I never fill these things out. I did all my research before I got there so I new I was going to buy it was just going in there firing it a couple time's and paying the man his money. RedBull044 I recently had my 3 hand gun stolen and I wanted to replace them but I didn't know where to shop at I did a lot of internet surfing I went to the gun shop in Zion but didn't feel comfortable. a friend told me hey go check out the outdoorsman in the harbor. I called the store in search of archery equipment because my daughter is shooting in school.wecame in got some information.a young mad with a beard helped us and sold us a bow. Called a craze. Its perfect. An older gentelman i dont remember there names gave her a lesson. I learned a lot just listening and watching .its been about two months and she is still at it...so good job fellas. good place good staff I ordered a Mathews Z7 back in July. it took three weeks to get it and they set it up the next day. It shoots perfect its an amazing bow These guys are on top of there game Paul and Ed know Mathews bows thats for damm sure. if you want great service from people who care this is the place. to go, They have a cool video shooting range to
REPULSIVE Born and raised in Winthrop Harbor, IL and very familiar with the Outdoorsman. I have utilized the gun range and my children have taken gun owner safety classes there. However, their business of selling fireplaces from this establishment is substandard. After $4000 and 2 years of fighting with the owner of this store, the fireplace still does not work for the 68 year old widow that purchased it 2 years ago. The Gun Shop I Was Looking For Thanks, Outdoorsman! This shop is just what I wanted in a gun shop. Family owned and run, fairly close by, friendly service, and extremely fair prices. In the past year I have bought two guns ( Glock and a Smith & Wesson) from Gail and Paul, and each were priced at the point no one could match at the time. I have also taken personal lessons as well as their Conceal and Carry course. Each experience was well worth the cost, time, and effort.
