First time here and loved it! Our tent spot was large, and right on the river. There were rope swings across our site in the adjacent campground. The pool was unbelievably warm, and was very nice to relax in. Same with the hot tub. Overall, the campground was quiet and peaceful. The only thing I would change would to open more slots for canoe/tube trips. The workers were great the park model was old. The furniture in it was vinyl n all the vinyl was peeled off the shower is old n the curtain kept falling off, there was no paper towels at the store to purchase,or fire starter logs,the only day we had to use the pool they closed it for repair, no mini golf . But it was quiet n the workers were really nice n helpful. If u want just a quiet wooded place to stay with very few updates a wilderness type resort. Then u might like it only big town near us was standish ..20 min drive.

Stay clear of this campground!! I will say- the campground is nice and reasonably priced HOWEVER- I would never return and recommend you don’t either. The staff at this campground are absolutely terrible. The old men working “security” here are on power highs and evidently enjoy spending their days spying on and coming up with each and every small reason to yell at a group of girls staying here. There were 10 of us, we got 2 campsites and rented a golf cart for 3 nights. We were respectful and didn’t bother anyone. Our neigh... read more
