we had a gift card -- next time I'll sell it on Ebay – I went here with my husband and daughter. Let me start off by saying the drinks were good. That's where good ends. It was so so busy we had to wait for 45 min. We sat down and it still was really busy. We ordered a bloomin onion and that was good. Got Salt? – Valentine's Day dinner. The mixed drink special was delicious ($3.99 was cheap too) as was the cheesecake. At least they weren't salty! The steak and mashed potates were tasty but salty. The plates were nice and hot while the food temp was warm (had to sent m/p back to reheat). Bloomin' onion was lukewarm as well. Caeser salad was drowning in dressing- should have asked for dressing on the side. Waitress very friendly. Would return but not any time soon!
Disappointing – The service has gotten worse with each visit and after this one we will not be back! Curbside good....dine in HORRIBLE!!!
I forgot... no chain restaurants – I received a gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse which I was very excited about. I had not been there in years and I am not big on chain restaurants. My experiences there before were good and the food was good. So, I was pretty excited to take my girlfriend there and have a good dinner. Attacked!! I took my friends to Outback in Goldsboro 12/3/10, I noticed in the menu," A suggested gratuity of 18% for parties of 8 or more", I thought, ok, I will take that into consideration as a possibility, as per the definition of "suggested". When I recieved the bill for 200+15tax+39gratuity, the gratuity was auto added into the bill for no consideration at all. EPIC food... – Great food and atmosphere.
Overall Disapointing – I should have known; very disappointed, but should have been expected. If you like McDonalds, then you’ll like the McDonalds of steaks – Outback! I could have gone to the Penn Werner where I would have received a 20oz, slow roasted piece of prime rib for like $6 more, but I didn’t feel like the drive and wanted to stay close to Wyomissing. Good Food - Good Staff – I really like the food at the Outback - despite the (quite often) long wait, the prices, and the NOISE. The wood all over the place is great, lovely, beautiful - and does nothing to baffle the sound. It is a very "live" room, and at times the cacophany is deafening. Just plain horrible – This place is just plain horrible. Food, service, cleanliness and employees. Not worth time reviewing. We'd never go back because everything is bad at this location.
