I've been twice and neither time was I served a steak I could eat. The first time it was blue (I like it rare but not blue), and the second time I asked them to cook it with garlic and rather than spindling it with powder, they grilled it with cloves on top. The cloves were burned and the steak was well done. Not my choice for a steakhouse. Chuck
Since discovering I have Celiac Disease, finding safe places to eat out is difficult. We now have a SAFE, KNOWLEDGABLE, steakhouse that allows me to enjoy my meal without reservation! The proprietor, Mr. Davies, and the staff caught a soup I mistakenly thought was safe, they came to our table and let me know it did contain gluten. They even went the extra mile for me, and web searched A-1 steak sauce, and shared a simple recipe for the chocolate dessert!! The staff is good, they don't pressure you into anything! The new show room is spacious and has lots of things to choose from. The only downside is the bedroom furniture is lacking diversity. But the rest is great. Definately a must if you are in the market for new home furnishing. I just bought a new bed, mattress and dresser and didn't break the bank. Theyy didn't have any night stands though and didnt offer to order them either. Sales lady just suggested I use my old one on the oother side of the bed so it wont be seen?!!... read more
This place is amazing!! Staff is friendly not pushy. They have nice high end furniture for less!! Want or need new furniture this place is a must. I believe there now called rooms direct on empire I was told. Been to new show room and talk about nice!! Never again will I go back to Lazy-boy.
