The food was perfectly cooked! We got steak and the guys said it was better than another nice steakhouse in downtown Detroit. The grilled chicken Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing was fresh and delicious. I actually highly recommend. Great corner spot with plenty of sunlight through the windows.
Order the steak here at your own risk. From what I can tell, they microwave pre-seared, frozen steaks on the other side of the partition. There is no grill, as I assume the airport would not allow it. It was doubtlessly sheer hubris on Outback's part to assume their brand would be able to successfully deliver their product in such a setting. Great food and service just like you would expect from Outback;
The waitress was nice & very good. The mashed potatoes were just warm. The salad was excellent but the ribeye for $34 was terrible! It was very fatty & tough. Hard to cut. No steak knife was provided. She said they didn’t have any but the chef could cut the meat for me. I had them do that. I told the waitress the steak was very tough & I couldn’t get it cut without a steak knife but not sure that would help!
One can always count on the food tasting good every time.
