AUGUST 14, 2026 UPDATE: Outback did issue inconvenience compensation via gift card. HOWEVER, the promised refund to my credit card never happened, so today, I filed a dispute with Capital One. I will say that once Outback's social media team got involved, a different manager from the location was quick to reach out and offer compensation. We came here to celebrate my partner successfully defending his doctoral dissertation and ended up leaving without dinner. Our server, Monique, took our order, brought drinks and an appetizer, and then apparently completely forgot about us. We sat for over an hour with no entrées and no one came back to check on our table. Meanwhile, we watched multiple tables that were seated after us receive their food, eat, and leave. Decided to grab a steak. Perfect medium rare cook in the steak. I ordered a 15oz Ribeye, it was a different cut then im used to and it had a little too much tendon in it. Im not big fan of pepper and there was probably double the amount I would have used myself, but overall it was still a good steak and full of flavor. I ordered plain mashed potatoes as a side...do yourself a favor and make sure you get them fully loaded instead. My server was excellent.
