The Outback in Anderson has left me less than satisfied the last few times. It seemed they had forgotten how to cook a steak. I was skeptical coming to this location. I'm happy to say I was wrong. The steak and potato were perfect. I had a custom cocktail made that the bartender knocked out of the park. Our waitress was humorous,attentive and engaging. We had a very pleasant night. Thanks. We will be back.
We sat in the bar, waitid quite q bit for service...but once they figured out who was suposed to be our server we enjoyed the evening.
They are open 11a-10:30 on Fridays, yet we showed up at 11:15a and they were closed. There were several cars in the parking lot, yet the doors were locked. Tried to call, there was no answer... We wanted to use a gift card we received. We went back at 5p for dinner. My pasta was under cooked, to spicy, and chicken was dry. Also we had to ask another server to send my husband's steak back twice before it was cooked properly & refill our drinks, since ours never did even as much as offer to. I love the place but my steak was way over cooked but the visit was wonderful with family and friends
Service was fine but the steak, for a place that advertises itself as a steakhouse, was aweful. The first was sent back because of the amount of salt on it, made unable to eat. Should of known at that point the meat was tough. Steak is often layed out in salt to try to upgrade lower grade meat. After I sent the first one back the brought out an unsalted piece of meat as tough as leather. I haven't eaten steak sauce on a steak in years but it needed it.
