I took my car here for service several times and was never impressed. They are a bit condescending and not overly friendly. I always had to call to ask for updates on my car because otherwise no one would tell me what was happening. They also didn’t fix the issues I had, so I ended up going to Alexandria VW instead and liked it much better (worth the extra drive!).
Really great experience with these guys. My ID4 wasn't charging so I was basically stranded in Maryland and could not get back to PA. First, the dealer offered to assist, which was incredibly nice and helpful, but when they couldn't get it to work, suggested I go to the service center. The people here were very nice and customer service oriented. They took a look at the car but had to wait until the ID4 came in Monday for a more through inspection - which happened right away. I have a 2023 VW Jetta and since November 2024 I have brought it to the dealership for a check engine light issue practically every month. During every visit (there are too many to count), they claim to have fixed the problem and the light reappears less than a couple of weeks later. In two instances, I have left my car at the dealership for more than a month so they could “diagnose” the issue. Worst auto service experience of my life. Made a 7:30 am appt to have my VW looked at, Keyless entry system was malfunctioning. They said they’d have a diagnoses by early afternoon, but never even looked at the car on day 1. Afternoon of day 2, still haven’t even looked at car, meanwhile they had time to run a ‘44 point inspection’ that I never asked for. This place is truly the worst, I'd rate it 0 stars if google would let me. Everything seems to take them exponentially longer to do than any other service center I've used to service my VW, they claim your service will take x amount of time, it always takes longer. And if you are hoping they'll call you ahead of time to let you know they overpromised and that your service will take longer, thats clearly a foreign concept to this service center, let's just say I'd expect snow in July before I'd expect that phone call, which i... read more
