I had a lower GI bleed recently and was sent specifically to this location and received very quick admission and care. Only waited about 15 minutes on a Sunday and was admitted, diagnosed, and treated very quickly. Unfortunately I’ve lost my notes on who the ER doc and nurses were, but they were outstanding. The doc was experienced and knowledgeable and primary nurse plus others were caring, professional, and efficient. This visit ended with being admitted to the hospital. Left my mom sitting in her own urine for probably 7 hours, left not knowing what was wrong with her after we had to get an ambulance because we couldn’t move her whatsoever. The xray lady couldn’t even move her to take X-rays so she never even got that done. I mentioned she had used restroom on herself and nurses dismissed it. Asked them how we can move her they also dismissed that, gave us no crutches. Only took her vitals after she wrote the discharge papers. Beware of bringing any loved one that’s in active addiction or in recovery. Dr. Milanes prescribed morphine and oxycodone to my loved one with a past of addiction. He was informed of it and brushed it off for the sake of pain management. Y’all please be careful with this place.
