6 hours in the ER in pain ! NO RUSH! They get you in to start charging you in 10 min then HOURS to get one thing done! I left! If I die at my house, it’s because they were in no hurry and I’d rather lay in my home!
I am out of town for a few days and needed to be checked out during our stay. The admin staff was friendly at the check in process and the process was painless. I was able to get back in a room within minutes of check in. Nurse Emily and other clinical staff were amazing. I was there the typical 3 to 4 hours. Ultrasound tech was super friendly. When we are visiting Lafayette, if the need arises, this is where we will seek medical care.
This is the only emergency department I had to wait over 10 hours to even get into a room. Wait times are ridiculous. Within the 10 hours waiting they only took my vitals and urine sample. This hospital needs more people working/rooms to eliminate wait times.
Went into the emergency room with burns at a very busy hour. The director Lyle Prejean took action and extended treatment into the hallways. I received the best treatment and nicest staff who helped me and every one in the emergency room. Made my bad day better.
I had the best care ever,Dr.M.Thomassee was awesome,the nurses was great also.There was one CNA that went above and beyond,bless her heart.Thanks for taking care of me.
