Although I hate to go to the emergency room, at 1 AM, I had no choice, since it was a medical emergency. Luckily it was not very busy and I was taken in quickly and staff was very attentive. After bloodwork and CT scan results (it took about 3 hours in total) they knew that I had to be catheterized. Unfortunately the the supplies were not available on the floor, but maybe 15 minutes later a nurse brought them in.
