I have heard wonderful things about adult day. But beware if you transition your loved one to more permanent care. Otterbein is not a great facility overall. The memory care unit is neglected. It is dingy and dirty and understaffed. The floor staff is great. The administration is not. There have been bed bugs for more than a month. the and administration won’t even notify the families. Residents are displaced from their rooms for 8 hours a day during treatment. Any staff that speaks up for the residents is terminated.
Awesome place for anyone who has loved ones suffering from Alzheimers/dementia. Never thought my outdoorsy Dad would go,,,, he loves it. The staff is amazing ❤️
