RecommendedDoc knows our breed better than anyone around. One emergency vet had our old guy dying in six months due to a MCT and in reality he was having an allergic reaction and lived another 4 years dying of heart failure. Doc is knowledgeable, caring, reasonably priced and Molly is amazing!
I’ve been taking my pets to Otter Lake for over 20 years. They are absolutely wonderful and I wouldn’t take my dogs or cats anywhere else. They really care about your pets (and you!) Highly recommend.
Because they charge $116.00 to sit with your Beloved if you go there to put your baby to sleep! They charge you when your heart is broken already. How HORRIBLE & Money HUNGRY can you be?? So people care for them & it's y'all faces they see before they go. I'm Disgusted. Ya'll should be ASHAMED of yourselves but the fact that you have it that way speaks volumes that you aren't!!

If it wasn’t for the diagnosis and treatment of rare blastomycosis, I would have lost my dog Otto. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Wayne Scanlan, DVM and the Otter Lake Animal Care Center. Otto now has his energy back, no longer limping, weight back on, and his color and coat is much improved. He’s a happy dog and looking forward to summer. Thanks so much to Wayne and the staff at OLACC.
We have been going to Otter Lake for years and Dr. Scanlon and staff are always very professional, kind and compassionate.
Dr Scanlon and staff are always welcoming and accommodating, sympathetic and supportive. I recently had to euthenize my beloved puppy and the entire process was treated with respect, care and compassion. It made a horrible, horrible day a bit less horrible because I knew their hearts were hurting for us too.
