This is a really good rehab. The staff all cares a lot about the clients and the therapy groups are great. The house is very nice and I had the pleasure of meeting several great housemates. Otter House gave me a great foundation for my recovery and the hope I needed.

I thought this was going to be the best experience I in had the Asheville recovery scene, everybody spoke so highly about this place, so when I went I struggles and still do struggle with narcolepsy, as well as a throat condition that I had to go get biopsies for while going to otter house. Otter House Wellness is the kind of place you hope to find when you or a loved one needs support. I have personally known the folks who run it and they are incredible. I can honestly say they pour everything into doing right by their clients. Everyone deserves to be met with compassion and respect during a tough season of life, and that’s exactly the environment they’ve built. I’d recommend Otter House to anyone searching for a team that actually cares about the people they serve.

It’s funny how you guys took down my review But it’s OK I’m going to write another one so I was there for about 43 days and I was unceremoniously kicked out because of a joke that didn’t sit well with one of the counselors however, I’ve expressed my concerns with the staff who no longer works there because they must’ve gotten fired from my last review because of them breaking my hippa This place does not care about addicts at all They’re quick to take your money from your insurance and then kick you out when it’s convenient ... read more

Do not go here. This program cannot maintain therapists to save their lives. The groups consist of check ins and trauma dumping. They teach no actual skills or useful knowledge or coping mechanisms. The website and admissions claim they have EMDR and Brain Mapping. Neither of these things are true. In addition to being an inadequate facility after I relapsed, I was referred to an even worse facility in South Florida for stabilization purely for the financial gain of admissions.
