I cannot express how incredibly wonderful the Ottawa Valley Midwives are. I received care from Suzanne and Rachel at the Carleton Place location and always felt heard and fully informed throughout my pregnancy. My birth at Almonte hospital went better than I ever could have imagined under Suzanne and Deanna’s care. I had such an incredible pregnancy and birth experience with OVM. Tylee and Deanna are incredibly skilled and compassionate, and the clinic runs like a well oiled ship. It’s fantastic as well that the midwives provide the option to give birth locally at Almonte General Hospital!

Ottawa Valley Midwives provided service for my daughter’s first pregnancy. Our experience was not one I would recommend for anyone in their first pregnancy. There should be more backup midwife staff on call for deliveries. Queensway Carleton Birthing Unit Operating room nurses and GYN physician were excellent.
