These two angels came to my mother's rescue yesterday. She is 94 and fell, dislocating her arm. They worked with her ensuring she was in as little pain as possible. They worked diligently and professionally all the while, engaging in good natured banter thus, distracting us from the obvious. I believe their names were Chris and Jay but I'm not entirely sure. Yesterday, Aug 27, I fell at home and dislocated my elbow. The paramedics that showed up were nothing short of angels. Thank you so much for all for the wonderful care. I'm very grateful.
Paramedics Mike and Allen came for my rescue yesterday. Very calm and polite and supportive. Attention to detail. Thank you for the wonderful service.
Paramedics Paul and Cassidy (sp?) came to the rescue when my 90+ mother had taken a turn at home in Ottawa a little before the holidays. They listened to our feedback about how dire the change was, patiently listened to my mother and how she was feeling and doing, gingerly and carefully got her out of the house, stayed by her side and updated me while we waited for her to be admitted to the QCH. I was transferred from the Civic hospital to St. Vincents rehab facility on November 4th mid afternoon, after spinal surgery, expecting to enter rehab. Once there and after vitals were taken, it was apparent I had a fever and infection so I had to be returned to the Civic. An ambulance was called and I was under the care of two paramedics, Jocelyn and Jasmine.
