Professional and empathetic treatment. Doctor MacDonald and the support staff provided exemplary service.
Frustrating Wait Times and Lack of Professionalism I had an appointment scheduled for 11:00 AM and, as instructed, arrived 20 minutes early. It's now 12:30 PM and I'm still in the waiting room — over 90 minutes past my scheduled time. To add insult to injury, parking costs $26 for a maximum of 90 minutes, so not only is my time being wasted, but it's also costing me extra money. Wow, … great service. 1 – As soon as my referral was received by the Parkdale Dermatology Mohs surgery Clinic, immediate action was taken. 2 – I was contacted within one day for a consult appointment. It got scheduled for the next day. 3 – At the consultation appointment, Dr L MacDonald assessed the skin issue on my scalp and confirmed the need for a Mohs surgery procedure. Very kind and pleasant receptionist, medical student was also great. The dermatologist however was neither. She was apathetic, had the coldest disposition, she looked and behaved irritated, like she didn’t want to be there and entered the room already annoyed - before I even said hello. She didn’t examine me, did look at the issue but said she had “no idea what this could be”. This pointless visit was a waste of time, and money.
