OHS built a detached garage for us. The crew was great, though they did an incomplete job. They didn't put any fans or vents in the garage to move air around, though they knew we would put a hot tub in there. Opening the windows wasn't sufficient. Now there is mould and the interior walls are buckled from the moisture, and we have to refinish the entire garage interior. I am extremely pleased with the bathroom Ottawa Home Select renovated for me. They listened to me and worked with me to achieve my vision. Pete and his crew were friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. They took pride in their work, kept me up to date with what was going on, and always left my home neat and orderly. I highly Ottawa Home Select for any home improvement project.
In just a couple of days, OHS replaced our rotting pine porch columns with cedar posts and a beautifully crafted cedar box at the top for the beam. We're very pleased with the quality of the work and are thankful that Rod, the owner, took the time to answer all of our questions ahead of the job.
They took my job when construction was very busy so I am thankful for that as there are lots of nice features about my renovation. Rod has lots of charisma but in hindsight I now feel conned by him. He forced me to pay over contract price of a 4 piece bathroom because they ran into additional expenses and a decision had been made for only a 3 piece bathroom but no credit offered for that change in cost . Ottawa Home Select completed the renovation of my kitchen and washroom project on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, and I was impressed with the results.
