On the phone they scheduled me for February 16. They updated my information in the system wrong. Never got a reminder message about my appointment. Called them to make sure they were open since it was President Day. They were open, but told me my appointment wasn't until April 16th. WHY would I book an appointment for sinus issues 3 months out???? Whomever does their appointment and updates of information, needs to go back to training class.
My dad’s primary care doctor referred us to Dr. Newcomer for his ongoing ear issues. While Dr. Newcomer seemed friendly, I have serious doubts about his expertise based on how he addressed my father’s concerns. My dad has been experiencing a constant noise in his ear, along with a bubbling sensation. The doctor’s solution was to turn on a fan or play music while sleeping so the noise would be “masked.” I found this suggestion very unprofessional and dismissive. Do not waste your time.
Dr. Childs is very responsive and patient with questions. Trust me, I probably wrote her out with questions. She’s willing to try other options and listen to your concerns and tries her best to find the solution. In addition, Dr. Cory Atkinson (Speech Language Pathologist) was also great. I had 2 visits so far and she’s very informative and patient as well. Very friendly and is very knowledgable. I’d recommend them any day over VA. Js.
Have not been yet as I cannot get any appointment. It took over 10 minutes to get someone to answer. Then they put me on hold another 10. I called back. On hold 8 minutes to speak to someone who clearly hates their job. She was no help and did not offer to do anything to help my situation. Then hung up. Another reason we are leaving the country. Better medical care.
