Dr. Ota is a class act. He was very caring and professional in his work (I had a root canal done). The procedure was pain-free, everyone in the office was very kind, and Dr. Ota called me personally 3 days later to check up on me. He was recommended to me by my primary care dentist. I would highly recommend him.
He is great! I was scheduled for a root canal - he thought we could get by with out one. He was right! Saved me some $$$. Most doctors would take the money and run!
Dr. Ota has done 4 root canals for me. All were very successful. He was always concerned with my comfort level. In all instances I never took as much as an aspirin afterwards even though he gave prescriptions for pain killers. Immediately after the last root canal I began eating peanuts on the "bad" tooth. The best doctor I've ever had. I have no anxiety about seeing him.
Dr. Ota was totally uncaring when I told him that the dental dam was making it difficult for me to breath. I have asthma. When I told him, he said that to remove it meant that he would not finish the proceedure. Since I had a half open tooth, I just wheezed to get through it. I would not go back to someone so uncaring.
I have been going to Dr. Ota for several years for root canal treatments, and he and his staff are wonderful. It is relaxing and the staff are very helpful and comforting. Additionally, everything is clearly explained and all possible options are presented. Dr.Ota is knowledgeable, patient, highly qualied, does outstandinig work, and he is funny, too. He sings when he works.
Dr. Ota is treating our 10yo daughter and I couldn't be more pleased. Both Dr. Ota and his staff are genuinely caring and extremely competent. I don't hesitiate a moment to recommend him to anyone. The office is very pretty, relaxing and their back office practices are amazing! Everything is covered in plastic wrap so you know that there is no chance of icky germs! :) Thank you Dr. Ota, Julie and everyone treating our daughter!
