After deciding to have Dr Lopez perform a cataract procedure on me I am now blind as a bat. Now wish I had simply got a stronger prescription. What is the most frustrating is that when I told the Doctor that something wasn't right and that my vision was worse post surgery, his response was , "Impossible ! There's no way that your vision isn't better. " Going to this guy was one of my poorer life decisions.

My eye was almost doubled in size ( Orbital cellulitis) I was transferred from the ER to his office for an emergency consult. It took about 3 hours to actually see Dr Lopez. He spent about 2 minutes looking at my eye and said take these drops and go home. A doctor passing in the hallway ( I don't know his name) stepped in and asked if he could take a look, Gladly I agreed. He said I needed to bee admitted immediately as this could be a life or death situation. It took about 3 days of IV antibiotics for my eye to return to somewhat normal size. I am insulted that Dr Lopez only spend 2 minutes and just dismissed me in such a manner. It has been almost 3 months since this event and I fear my eye will never return to normal. I can't believe that Dr Lopez was just going to send me home!!
