I saw Dr Patel for a very sudden and excruciating leg pain that left me literally unable to walk. After doing some studies he explained what he thought had happened and put my mind at ease that this was not going to be a permanent situation. He was able to treat me with just medication and after two weeks my pain is largely gone. I had two. Total knee replacements by Dr. Caruthers and think very highly of Dr. Caruthers. He explained everything to me, and was very nice. I just wish he’d smile a little more! lol I am healing very nicely. I think he’s a great dr.
It was a good visit explained that my knees were missing normal cushioning and decided to give me a shot in each knee. Actually thought it was going to help, but unfortunately it was a temporary fix. I have started stretching and Exercising is helping but when using knees like mowing grass or hiking they go back to being very stiff where it actually hurts to go bet back in the car . I would like to stay with Doc and see what’s the next step .
