Seriously avoid D.R. Horton. They use the cheapest parts and I have already had to replace breakers and valves. The trades said the parts they use only last about two years. Total waste of money. Do not trust the warranty either. They just try to blame you so they do not have to fix anything.
Extremely Disruptive and Disrespectful If DR Horton is so desperate to sell their stupid model homes, why are they waking people up early in the morning just to rip windows and doors off?! It’s incredibly inconsiderate to disturb families—especially those with babies—just to stage or strip their property for show. No notice, no care, just loud banging and chaos. I do not recommend living at Osprey Townhomes. We’ve had serious spider infestations—specifically black widows and false widow spiders. These are not harmless bugs—black widows are dangerously venomous, and it's extremely concerning that management hasn't done anything meaningful to resolve the issue. Osprey Townhomes by D.R. Horton are disappointing. There’s no restroom downstairs, which makes daily life and hosting guests very inconvenient. The stairs are sharp, steep, and excessive — not safe for kids or elderly people. The kitchen is way too small and lacks functional space. Everything feels cheaply made, from the flooring to the fixtures. Worst of all, the walls are so thin you can hear everything — footsteps, voices, even small movements from neighbors.
