I had my 1st appointment with Dr Chan today. I found all the staff professional and engaging. The office was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Modern and nicely laid out. Dr Calvin Chan was very lovely and kind. I'm hopeful that his course of treatment will buy me a few more years before total knee replacement X2 ! Fancy name for a nerve block clinic that pushes nerve blocks and other injections for thier only means of managing pain. Not an actual diagnostic pain management clinic. Nor will they manage or prescribe any sort of pain medication as advertised on thier website. Complete waste of time driving over an hour each way. Just another front for nerve blocks, and a urine test up front ? What's that all about.
This place is not about pain, it is a drug rehab facility. They are not open and honest with patients regarding this. Be prepared as the first thing they want you to do is a urine test. No credentials displayed anywhere, place was absolutely filthy, clinic is on 3rd floor with no working elevator. No name tags and refused to accommodate my hearing disability, prompting the doctor to walk away. Website states that they do prescribe opioids but they absolutely do not.
