If I could give no stars I would. I was there almost 8 hours. Did not leave until 2am with my three year old who needed stitches. The doctor was huffing and rolling her eyes because a 3 year old was crying and screaming about stitches! It was the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever seen. The wait time was absolutely unbelievable. We had been sitting in a room for 4 hours not knowing what was going on. I was treated very well at this location. The staff was very caring and did an excellent job. It did take a lot longer than expected, but I would come here again.

The 2 nurses working in the er on 8/18/2023 at noon were the most unprofessional incompetent people I've encountered. I came in on an ambulance with possible internal bleeding and was left in a room for over 45 minutes without a call button or my vital being monitored. They refused to help me with the restroom or wheelchair me out while I could not walk.

I absolutely love the Mendota hospital! The staff is spectacular. Very caring, helpful, kind. I live in ottawa and I'll never go there again unless I'm literally about to die. Then I'm going to tell them to transfer me to Mendota.
