Not in any rush to return to this lab at all. I will more than likely drive back to princeton, where there are MORE staff EVERY WHERE in a SMALLER hospital! While there were no issues at all with the lab tech herself, everything prior to that lacked. One of the girls in patient access registration actually gave me a card before we left with a number on it to a lady in ottawa and instructed me to call her stating that the way things were handled with us is NOT hospital procedure or policy at all

They made me wait in ER for over 4 hours while allowing other people that just got there back into a room in ER while I wait I don't recommend this hospital one bit 1000% a failed hospital and very rude and people throwing up coughing and sneezing out in the open uncovered and no masks very unsanitary environment especially in the ER waiting room next time I'll go to Ottawa or Princeton osf hospital Never again am I going back there even to the point of me going home and not being scene this is hospital has committed discrim... read more

I am very disappointed in Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru, Illinois. My mother was transferred there for surgery on a sore on her behind. On February 11, 2026., from Ottawa, Saint Elizabeth, Medical Center, within 20 minutes of being at the Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru, not even comfortable in her bed yet the doctor that was on duty I won’t say his name here, but I know his name the nurse practitioner that was working. While I can forgive busyness I can’t forgive a complete lack of empathy when someone is crying and writhing in pain and the 2 young ER nurses give you major attitude and one even makes faces. I could go into my story but it’s just not worth it. Bypass this hospital for any emergency!!! It doesn’t matter how long you’ve waited or if your primary doctor called over beforehand with extreme concern at how your situation was unfolding. I here to state that you need to becareful of putting your loved ones in the care if this hospital!! She was sent there for a minor surgery on back side! And doc canceled it and decided she was old and we needed to just let her die ! Then preceeded in giving her way to much of the wrong drugs ! Dehydrated her to the piont of no return! Many mistakes were done to her ! But gets me the most is that they left her without food for entire stay approximation of 10 to 12 days ! With nutrition at all !
