In 2016 the doctor removed 10 polyps from my husband. Informed him to return in 2018 due to family history of colon cancer. In 2018 a few more polyps were removed. The doctor told my husband to return in 5 years. FIVE YEARS! Family history! Fast forward three years (2022 ) my husband was having some rectal bleeding. Dr. Khokar is knowledgeable, personable and explains everything in an easy to understand way. I appreciate his thoroughness and availability, as well as his kindness and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. K.
Yet to see him. His office said I need an appointment (available one month away) to make an appointment. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. Not a good start.
I saw him back in 2020, I was dismissed at the appt, the notes don't match reality, ended up admitted 24 hrs later for failure to thrive and the fact I had blockages. I had already been going to the ER for 5 months prior, huge lack of care and concern overall with OSF with my issues then and now. I look 70 lbs right now and can't get any GI Dr to take me seriously or help me.
