Stop by to purchase some CPAP supplies as I have in the past. Person working the counter refused to sell them . Was informed I had to have a prescription even though I I have received them in the past and paid for them on site. I had cash or credit card and tried to pay . I was asking for an extra hose and a masks mine had broken the night before. Told me I needed to call my doctor to get a prescription. I went the night without my Cpap and was up all night. The people seem nice but it is extremely difficult to get through if there are questions on anything. I can try all times of day and the line is always busy
These people are the absolute worst. I urge anyone not to do business with them. I was told, repeatedly, that I had a zero balance, only to find out they sent me to collections and then refused to return calls. Then they informed me that I owe double, what they had been telling me. The supervisor is offensive and screamed at me.
OSF is profit oriented and does not put the patient's health as the number one priority. Sadly that's what makes a successful business these days and as a result we are left with OSF monopolized healthcare in central Illinois now and the common response to this is to go to Chicago or St Louis for better treatment if you're on Medicare or Medicaid. Thanks greedy SOBs!
I would recommend find another place that is more reliable and knows what is going on. I was told my oxygen would be coming between 11 and 1, I missed a very important appointment due to them not showing or calling to tell me they wouldn't be here in that timeframe! I had to call and cancel because I sat home all day waiting for nothing and had a lot of things to get done and wasn't even informed it would be arriving on this day until the morning of.
