I think the previous reviews regarding wait time are when they were fairly new because the wait to see an NP/PA took longer. IWe got here before 9am. It took 45min to an hour to get called to the back. Now it's almost 10:30am, we're still waiting to see an NP/PA.

Now, this past December of 2024 I rolled my ankle the wrong way not paying attention there was a curb to step down on to the street, I heard a pop and of course I felt a sharp pain going up and down my leg. Anyways, I waited a week before going to Ortho on call and so I waited a week and still black and blue and really swollen. My daughter was seen at an ER for a knee injury before we brought her to this facility. The ER at VCU Tappahannock was dismissive and ineffective. The doctor here was extremely thorough in her evaluation and LISTENED to her. She was a sports med doctor which was fortunate because my daughter is a competitive athlete. We liked her so much we booked an appt through her office. Skip the ER, come here. Every time!

Nicole Payette is excellent. She used to work in Fredericksburg Va but moved to the Mechanicsville/ Richmond area. She is worth going the extra distance for.
