I waited for months to get an appointment with Dr. Cherrick a physiatrist. She has raving reviews on google and I couldn't wait to meet her. But as soon as I came off the elevator the place was disgusting, smelly, musty, the lights are way to bright on the entire floor. Every check-in person is in a mask. My appointment was for 10:00am. Shannon Murphy, PA-C is amazing! I’ve brought my mom here and we have nothing but positive things to say about her. My mom was seeing a previous provider at this location who didn’t listen as well to her and dismissed her pain. But Shannon has been great. She takes her time, listens, and explains everything in detail. We’re very happy to see her :)
I would not recommend this surgery center. They do not call you to tell you what meds OTC you will need prior to your surgery, they do not have the anesthesiologist call you prior to your day of surgery so we had a major delay and had to do a spinal because some meds were not available and the PACU nurse did not read what surgery you had, did not want to control pain and instead told us if my son could talk she wouldn’t give anything for pain. I was very disappointed with my experience. I was referred to this specialist specifically to review my lumbar MRI findings and discuss treatment options. I arrived 30 minutes early as instructed, waited beyond my appointment time, and paid a specialist copay, yet my visit with the doctor lasted less than five minutes. I was asked why I was there, and my MRI findings were never reviewed or explained to me.
