Terrible experience with their billing. I was reluctant to go through MRI since I considered my wrist isn’t that serious and only need a Cortizone shot and Dr. wanted to proceed. They also made the patient signed the waiver to protect them legally. After the bill came out, I called the billing dept. and they never responded to me, instead they went to a debt collector and a law firm, and I had to bear the extra 18% interest! I will never go to that big corporate medical chain again! If I can give NO star, not even one star!
I have reviewed my doctor already- Danielle Cherrick. Now I want to rate Maryann Zacharias - the PA who works on my case as well. She is so efficient and I trust her as much as my doctor. She is helping me with some letters I requested, and she finished in way under 24 hours. This practice has saved my life and I’ll be forever grateful for my team at OrthoVA.
Dr. Wegner did terrific job on my surgery and follow up. Would recommend him to anyone.
Truly impressive how an orthopedic office can be this unhelpful. I was given vague, inconsistent information, zero transparency, and had a generous amount of my time wasted in the process. Even more concerning was the apparent lack of basic understanding of treatment options, which is kind of the whole point of being an orthopedic practice. Overall, a shocking level of incompetence and an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone needing actual medical care.
Even with appointment it takes forever, what’s the point of having an appointment?
