It is interesting reading the reviews about how they will make you wait upwards of an hour to see a doctor passed your scheduled appointment time. I arrived 10 minutes late as I was trying to get to McLean from SE Washington DC where I work in mid day traffic. The clinic was swarmed with people, and the line was out the door. Only 2 of the 3 receptionists were actually working. By the time I got to the front desk, 10 more minutes had passed by. I have been a patient of this office for over five years and overall my experience has been extremely positive. Dr. Avery is a wonderful and caring surgeon who had gotten me back to my feet each time I've had to have surgery, which I'm up to five this year. Each recovery has been swift and the support of the PT after was awesome as well. I like that they have so many specialties in- house and that there is an on-call/urgent care available also. Appointment was for 3:40, was told to come at 3:20, so I did. It is now 4pm and I have seen people who have come after me be seen before I am even called up. Update: Was finally seen at 4:05
AVOID. A patient said she has a deformed arm (she later showed me how it's crooked and doesn't work normal), and receptionists held papers away from her. I watched her be mistreated by two receptionists multiple times. The receptionists don't care about hurt people. Avoid this place.
