We went for my son's knee problem, and the doctor said he would prescribe medication. A few days passed, but the prescription still hadn't arrived at our pharmacy. When we called to resolve the issue, we couldn't get past the automated voice response system and left a message. We received a message from the automated voice response system saying we would be contacted as soon as possible, but no one got back to us.
This review is strictly for Maha at the McLean-Tyson’s location: 10 STARS. I have never had anyone who has never met me put forth so much time and effort into finding a solution to my issue. I couldn’t (nor could the Springfield provider or clinic staff) track down the doctor who did the specific procedure I was in need of, and Maha took over 20 minutes to research all the OrthoVirginia providers in detail to find the singular one who can perform the Tenex/FAST procedure I was searching for. The wait time is extremely long, and no one updates you about any delays, they just leave you sitting in the lobby or exam room with no communication.
I visited OrthoVirginia's McLean-Tysons location after a disappointing experience at a nearby urgent care. I had fractured my ankle, so I needed x-rays and several follow-up visits, all of which the OrthoVirginia team handled quickly and efficiently. They offer online scheduling, which is extremely convenient, as are their hours. I should also mention that this office was recommended to me by a doctor friend who has been here herself. Much appreciation to the amazing healthcare team!
