Tom Colburn is extremely knowledgeable & kind. I've been visiting this clinic for approx 20 yrs & have appreciated every one of them. 2025 UPDATE: These hard toiling folks have finally been furnished with a 1st floor, modern, clean suite easily accessible from the Biewend Bldg entrance -- just walk by the security desk, take an immediate LEFT & follow short hall until it dead ends to the office. Tom Colburn is extremely knowledgeable & kind. I've been visiting this clinic for approx 20 yrs & have appreciated every one of them. And, a special prize of valor should be awarded the folks that work here, for toiling in the old buildings exceedingly hot, windowless basement!

Pretty disorganized office - my orthotics took over 2 months, because the technician twice forgot to submit order. When they did arrive, the orthotics weren'st so great. The new technician was a nice guy and tried to adjust them so they weren't completely unusable. I appreciated that. Did end up going to another ortho company only months later. Had to pay for 2nd pair myself, but was worth it. I wouldn't recommend Orthotic and Prosthetic Center (at least the Boston Tremont St office). Tom Colburn (director) talks a good game... read more

I cannot say enough about the positive experience we have had at the Orthotics and Prosthetic Center. My 10 year old son has cerebral palsy and we have been working with Mike Bonnar on trialing and getting a device to improve my son’s gait. Not only does Mike make and take the time to thoroughly listen to the physician, myself and my son, he is extremely knowledgeable, professional, accessible and compassionate.
