I had an awful experience with this doctor. Well, he actually never came to see me or talk to me. The medical assistant came and didn't even say his name or who he was; I had to ask. I gave him images of my hip that I already had. After 25 minutes, he came back saying that the doctor looked at the images I provided and wanted me to have a back x-ray done. Always very helpful, explains any issues.
His office took x-rays even though they were not needed and patient told them that. Once Dr. K saw the patient then he even agreed and wondered why his staff took x-rays. Office staff charged $74 per x-ray and now Dr. K lies to his staff saying he never told the patient that so his office can still collect the money and not make things right. Would not recommend going to this doctor as they just try to get every penny out of you when not needed.
Everyone I have come into contact with have been extremely pleasant. The same goes for Dr. K. He made sure I had no questions unanswered prior to surgery. Physical therapists were awesome. They made what could have been a miserable experience more than bearable. My thanks to the team.
Dr. K's friendly attitude. My first appointment was in 2016 a fall while skiing. I had an orthoscope done in 2018. I was already bone on bone at that point. After helping me manage the pain for several years there was nothing else left to do but replace the knee. Dr. K explained the options each time and patiently waited for me to decide when I was ready. I am now pain free and enjoying an active life again.
Super pleased with Dr. K and his staff! Dr. K explained the issue with my hip. At each of my appointments, he answered my questions thoroughly and compassionately. He met me where I was in my processing of the issue. When I was ready for surgery, he and his staff were on the ball. Brady and Chase have been great as well. At 2 weeks post op for a total hip replacement I was walking and going up and downstairs. 6 weeks post op and I'm feeling great as the hip continues to get stronger.
Shoulder works great and healing well after 5 months I am back at the gym in full swing. Ty DR. K!!!
Dr K was a great doctor. I don’t trust people easily but dr k earned my trust in short order. Had both knees replaced and knew I was going to be well taken care of. 100% trust dr K.
Dr. Kouyoumjian (Dr. K) is the BEST doctor around. I have had two total knee replacements, and both have worked out amazingly well. I first went to Dr. K to just help me not have pain, I could barely walk, but I didn’t want surgery. Dr. K did everything he could to help me walk without pain and not have surgery. But my knees were so bad I realized I had to have my first knee replaced.
