Dr Jason Harvey is a brilliant orthoperiodic surgeon. I highly recommend him - from initial appointment, to surgery then post op appointment was nothing but five star service. His direct approach & professional advice made me 100 percent confident to do the operation and trust him and it was the best decision I ever made. Massive shout out and biggest thank you to Dr Julia Kirby who saw my daughter quite quickly based on her knee issues, with surgery undertaken quickly too. We've just had our final post op appointment and my daughter is now 100% back to her usual, active self again. I went to see Kara with an injured thumb from playing netball. I walked in with a lot of pain and heavy bruising across my hand. Kara was incredibly thorough in assessing the damage—she took the time to carefully test and examine the injury. She sent me for X-rays, made a custom splint to support the thumb, explained all the possible outcomes clearly, and followed up straight away when the X-ray results came in. I was told the meniscus was partially torn based on the MRI scan and there was a build up of scar tissue. The surgeon for my procedure was Tim Whitehead. He was impatiently rushing to the procedure before understanding and properly explaining the diagnosis. I had 3 prior ACL surgeries which failed. Tim suggested a procedure was to be performed to either repair or clean around the meniscus. The only procedure that was needed was no procedure.
