Had shoulder surgery 3 months ago. PT has me working out with one pound, doctors states I can go back to work with 10lb restriction! My employer is not sure what do because of the conflicting reports. The communication between PT and the doctor is very poor... If you have a workmen's comp shoulder surgery I would not recommend one due to the poor communication, PT and employer.
A week ago I started experiencing sharp pain to my right knee. I had a total knee replacement a yr ago on the left knee so I thought perhaps it was arthritis starting in the right knee. The pain worsened over the next few days so called for an appt and soonest appt was about 2 weeks later. Pain continued to worsen to point I had trouble walking on the leg and I didn't want the expense of the OR so I called again and was able to get in to a different doctor than my doctor the next day. Great doctors and staff just keep this in mind...NEVER accept medical equipment (crutches, braces,etc)from O.N.E. Get a prescription or recommendations and buy it elsewhere. I was charged 499.00 for a brace that I could buy from the same manufacture and receive the next day for 79.00.
