Was assessed by resident who was rushing me and made me feel like a baby for describing my pain. Just being like yeah, yeah, that’s normal. Then the surgeon came in and he was speaking to me in a little bit of a nicer manner, but not by much. I got emotional because it felt like what i was saying wasn’t being taken very seriously. I also got very little feedback about treatment afterwards other than applying a steroid cream. Was not even offered pt. Just told to do a couple hand exercises. I was sent to this office by workers' comp, which scheduled me a month in advance to see Dr. Nathan Olszewski. When I arrived, I was told it was a two-hour-plus visit. This was highly unacceptable; I canceled the visit immediately, as I work in human services and can't afford to wait that long. I worked 12 years in healthcare and knew exactly how to approach this situation as I am sure many patients would not know what to do. I had a left hip replacement and I can’t be happier with everything. From the first meeting with Dr. Abdeen, to leaving the hospital, everyone was absolutely fantastic! That Dr Abdeen is a precision, finer tuned machine. My OR nurse Steve….excellent! Diana my case manager on top of things and everyone in between. Paul Ambrose in Pre Op looks at every single detail.
