RecommendedDr.Sheaffer again to the rescue. Fell down the steps 2/19 and was a sprain which never improved. Saw him one time and he knew what was wrong. Few weeks later felt great. This time my shoulder did not have full mobility woke me up at night. Went to see Dr Sheaffer and he immediately knew it was a frozen shoulder. Dr. Scheaffer is the best physical therapist that I have been too. Not only has he helped me make a very big decision on my back but he has helped my husband in the past with his neck pain. I always recommend him to everyone I know.
I really appreciate the one on one attention from Dr. Karl Sheaffer at OPTS, a very calm and professional office. He has helped me with knee problems and recovery from hip replacement surgery. I recently thought that I might have a recurrence of a knee problem that Dr. Sheaffer had previously helped me with. My daughter has went to Dr. Sheaffer on two different occasions. The first time, she was 9 years old and had a left leg ankle injury. We went to CHOP to see an Orthopedic Surgeon who did an xray and put my daughter in boot for 4 weeks. She missed the entire softball season. They never saw a break on the xray, but based on the location of the injury and swelling, they told me she had a break in the growth plate. Been seeing Dr. Sheaffer many years for various PT treatments. He is the best. I've gone to PT at various places, prior to going to OPTS, and never saw the same person twice. I like the 1 on 1 individual treatment that is provided here. Thank you Dr. Sheaffer, you are truly the best!
Dr. Karl has helped me overcome several injuries. If I'm experiencing pain, OPTS is my first stop.
Dr. Sheafer is the BEST! My son was having chronic stress fractures on both chins. Orthopedic Dr say "rest, ice and let heal". Kept returning. Dr. S saw real problem, the ankle from a previous break was out of place. He adjusted and no more issues. NEXT: son had a knee injury, Ortho Dr saw no tears of any kind.
