Update: once Dr Barnes was back, everything was resolved quickly and the correct braces were delivered. She went above and beyond traveling to a location convenient for us. Comparing them to the first pair it's obvious that the first pair was made wrong - the type, the size, even the pattern. Mistakes happen, but there was no reason for these braces to go home with us. The owners response is appalling to a delayed AFO. What they did wasn’t free or even Mediocre. They dropped the ball. They failed the child. They unsuccessfully attempted to gaslight a parent of a special needs child. They discriminated by calling the child “poor”. They showed action and verbiage of Failure in service, compassion, care, healthcare, respect and responsibility.

Had very high hopes and gave plenty of grace but just not getting anywhere with the business. Went to the Omaha office mid June to get SMOs, were promised a rush order (if possible). Ended up waiting until second half of September, including a cancellation of a promised fitting date. During that time the local provider went on leave, so the owner is covering all locations.
