Had Cortisone shots in both knees. Loved the way Dr. Duhon treated me. I would highly recommend him to anyone with joint issues!
I believe Dr. Duhon is a great surgeon, I don’t think the office gives a crap, they have a very short attention span, my friend had a knee done, it was expected that Dr. Duhon would do the surgery, we got a bill from the understudy, her knee pops, and aches, 7 months later, we want to see Duhon, but have to wait 2 months, this is not what I would expect for a Dr that had that high rating,
Dr. Duhon is fantastic. From day 1, I have had a very good experience. The Dr. and his staff have been very competent and professional. I highly recommended him for knee replacement surgery!
Dr. Duhon is always professional and listens and patiently answers questions. I had a cortisone shot in my hip. As my range of motion was good and not level 10 pain, he questioned whether I wanted the shot for sure. Since the last one lasted 5 years, I said yes because for me, it was hurting a lot again. Doing better now, just pain from the shot itself. He did my tennis elbow surgery many years ago, and no problems at all. Highly recommend Dr. Duhon. His PA was very good too.
I met with Dr Duhon and the PA who works with him, Shane, this past Thursday for an initial assessment. I was on the cancellation list to see him earlier than my original appointment in August and was so happy to get a call that I could get in early. I had done my research about the extensive experience Dr Duhon has doing knee replacements and wanted to wait to see him even though he's very busy. Dr Duhon is a friendly, skilled and competent surgeon. He did total hip replacement for me in May 2016 and l have been very pleased with the results. I am now scheduled for Dr Duhon to replace my other hip in October 2019. I feel lucky and excited to have found such an outstanding surgeon to help me get back to a full and active life. The entire TOCA team is competent and caring.
I was very scared of having my knees replaced. I didn't hire the man for his bedside manner. I hired him for his skill! All my questions were answered. 11 weeks post-surgery on my left knee and 6 weeks post-surgery on my fight knee. My pain was managed very well! 4 different people (nurses, PT, Hospitalist) independently told me that Dr. Duhon's patients "just do better"post-surgery.
Dr. Duhon is always great to work with and his PA, Shane is great to.
Dr. Duhon replaced my hip 2018, my experience was excellent, to my shock I had no pain from the surgery, my sore out of shape muscles gave me aches and pains. I'm scheduled with Dr. Duhon this wed. For my other hip I expect it to go just as well. Would highly recommend Dr. Duhon
