I had surgery in 2002, he walked out of the operating room and told my husband he should probably have had a pediatric surgeon with him. He cut a nerve, he's a hacker! I still suffer in pain to this day. CRPS, it's attacking my heart now! He's an arrogant human!
Don't even want to give one star. 4 approved referrals and they won't let me make an appointment. They tell me something different every time I ask why. Sad thing is I can't go anywhere else due to insurance. I walk with forearm crutches and now it's possible I have Rheumatoid arthritis in my hands. That means without treatment I will most likely end up in a wheelchair. I cried when I read about all these happy customers because I wonder why I am so worthless.
McHenry location. Xrays and 1 visit with amazing insurance over 608.00. Billing refuses to help you. Never use these people. For xrays go to CDI instead. Get rid of this company. Scammers.
My review comes 6 years post right knee replacement. I just want to say my whole experience was fantastic! All the way from the doctor visits, surgery and P.A. Six years later my knee replacement has never failed me or caused me any pain! I now need the left knee done and will definitely use Orthoillinois for this one as well. Highly recommend!
This was the single worst experience I’ve had in a physician or specialist’s office. The care was contradictory, with a nurse giving different advice than the physician's assistant. I met the surgeon just once, even though I had two pre-surgical visits and one post-surgical visit. I met him for two minutes before I was administered anesthesia. Doctor Korchek and his staff at OrthoIllinois are inconsiderate jerks. At 73 years of age I live alone and only have a couple friends that I can trust to devote their time to me, and take me to a surgical appointment, so it is absolutely necessary that I know the day AND time for any appointments, so I don't inconvenience my buddy any more than absolutely necessary.
