I've been seeing Dr. L for chronic pain for almost 10 years now and I can say without a doubt you would be hard pressed to find a better Doctor or a better Human being. He's highly skilled, He's Compassionate and he truly cares about his Patients. But the one thing I found out on our first appointment is 'He Listens' which is something very rare with a lot of other Doctors. I went to see Dr Symbas for a suspected hip labral tear. They took an MRI of my knee (accident in sending in the order I suppose) then I asked why they didn't scan my hip and he ordered a second scan. The second scan confirmed a tear in my right labrum. He basically said there is nothing I can do then gave me a fist bump. I suppose I'll go elsewhere because he had literally zero interest in helping me.
From my first sport's injury post college and six procedures later (3 shoulder surgeries, two patella tendon repairs in both knees, ect ) all in a span of 20 years. Im still able to run and lift weights at 56 years old. Not only were the procedures and recovery on point. The PT was very good. Dr. Ghattas and his team are top shelf. Dr. Ghattas and team took the best care of me. They are professional, caring, decated, and experienced. Dr. Ghattas made sure I understood everything that he would be doing and answered all my question. From surgery through recovery I recieved the best of care, like a friend was taking care of me.
Very professional and cares about your personal well being! Dr. Ghattas is an excellent surgeon and has great bedside manner. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and comforting. I am very pleased with my experience & I highly recommend Dr. Ghattas for any of your Ortho needs!!
Had a compound fracture on my left arm from work. Dr Ghattas did a jam up job putting me back together. This man is amazing and takes time with his patients. Likes to cut up with patients also,I liked that so I could be myself with him. Best Doctor I have ever seen and I have seen my far share. And a great big shout out to the amazing staff also. Dr. Lichtenfeld took the time to review the previous records and MRI I provided from other doctors I've seen, and he dalso asked a lot of questions to clarify the information. He was thorough, listened to what I had to say, and was responsive and proactive in starting treatment on the first visit.
