My PCP sent over a referral to OrthoArizona on Oct. 5th. I was told to call them and set up my appointment. When I called the agent said he needed a referral prior to scheduling. I told him that was already done and he said, Oh, there it is. He then scheduled me for Oct. 9th. When I arrived I told the girl at the counter who I was and that I had a 10 am appointment. She then told me she didnt have me in her system for any appointment and that they needed a referral sent to their data base so they can draw from. I explained t... read more

My PCP referred me here since the pain in my shoulder has been getting worse over a years time. I was on disability because of it. I saw a Shoulder Orthopedic Surgeon, All the Dr. did was looked at old notes and the **Ray my PCP went over with me, and said he couldn't do anything. I didn't make the appointment to go over stuff I already had done, I made the appointment because my PCP said we needed a specialist to look into it further. I agree with Amanda B. She's lucky, it only took 2 mos. for her. It's been 4 for me... and still waiting. They were very annoyed that we called again... rude; condescending. I'm never go back there. The nurses and facility were great, but this is a sham. They are making money off of the clients. They should be investigated!

Horrible they tried to make me pay $1400 and didn't call my insurance and verify. Sad part is that there are a lot of elderly people who go to them and I'm sure they are all getting ripped off.

I am very disappointed with the customer service. I have an upper endoscopy and they sent me the cost of the procedure day before and all paper work too. I explained the receptionist that it is not right when you plan a month a head a procedure that they provide 850 dollars cost day before. It is not a right to send to complete all information. It is not a good organization between Texas endoscopy that blamed Texas Digestive disease consultants. They stated that TDDC did not send the paper work early. They did day before. Bo... read more

Surgery center is awesome when it comes to surgery and caring for the patient. Where they are atrocious is when they expect us to pay ahead of time and then taking 2 months to refund your money after receiving the EOB from your insurance. They have been using my $1100.00 for 3 months and constantly have an excuse as to why I don't have my refund yet. If you have surgery at Kimel Drive, you have done the right thing, but Do Not Pay them a dime until you get the EOB.

The facility and staff are nice but the billing department is not. I've been waiting for 3 months for a refund and the billing department still can't provide me with an estimate of when to expect my refund. I call the billing department regularly and get a different story every time. I called the facility and was told they can't really do anything. If the reverse were true, they would be sending me to collections.

I had gone in to get a refill of a vital medication to my health, Lantus a 24hr insulin that helps stabilize my sugar levels. When going in to get the medication filled I was told it was blocked because the Dr. wanted to see me, I advised the staff that I was completely out and was told that since it is blocked by the Dr. the pharmacy can not even give me one vial to hold me over.
