The owner Shannan is and expert colorist and master stylist who pays attention to details and only uses professional hair products. But it's also about the experience. Shannan makes your visit fun and educational all while being in her beautiful home studio overlooking Departure Bay in beautiful Nanaimo. I highly recommend her. 10 out of 10!!

I’ve been going to see Shannan at Orriginal for my hair for nearly 4 years. Her attention to detail, and skills are impeccable. I get compliments on my hair routinely, even when it’s been weeks since my last visit. The studio is a short walk for me, but I’d travel much further if I had to.
