The seats are uncomfortable! However the Color Purple was, great!

We’ve been to many performances over the years and really enjoy them and this grand old theater. Enjoy going with friends, family & especially our granddaughter. Became members for two reasons: beat the ridiculous reseller’s prices and get a shot at Hamilton tickets. Loved Color Purple.

I have always enjoyed attending stage plays. I go as far back as “Arms to short to box with God”, “The Wiz” with Stephanie Mills and a long list of others throughout the years. I must say the “The Color Purple” was incredible. Very few costume changes (which was a highlight in the “Lion King”) but the vocals and the vocal blends were phenomenal! The cast really reeled you into the story experiencing a variety of emotions. I believe it’s on the top of my list of favorites.
